Many volunteers help to keep the Church open to all. We welcome helping hands at all times.
Although the building dates back to the 12th century, the Kirk of Saint Nicholas Uniting, as it is known today, was founded in September 2002 as a Local Ecumenical Partnership between the Kirk of St Nicholas (Church of Scotland) and St Nicholas United Reformed Church. As the name ‘Uniting’ suggests, we are committed to working with other Christians for the unity of the church so that we may all be one.
In addition to our Ministry Team - Minister, Associate Minister, Minister Emeritus and Pastoral Assistant, and our Enabling Group, it is operated by a staff of Administrators, Wardens and other Volunteers working together with the Elders/Trustees on the Kirk Council.
